Sonny Bill Williams has become a father for the third time.
Williams and wife Alana Raffie have welcomed their first son, Zaid Williams, into the world.
The All Blacks star announced the birth via social media and offered a traditional Muslim greeting meaning 'peace be upon you'.
"Zaid Williams. Asalamualakium son mummy, daddy and your sisters love you so much," Williams tweeted on Friday afternoon.
The name Zaid is of Muslim origin and translates to "to prosper".
The pair are already parents to daughters Aisha and Imman.
