Novak Djokovic has claimed his 13th Grand Slam tennis title, beating Kevin Anderson 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 in the men’s singles final at Wimbledon.
The title moves him one behind Pete Sampras in the overall Grand Slam standings and fourth overall, with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer still further ahead.

Despite being seeded four below Anderson, Djokovic was heavy favourite for the match and showed his class in the comfortable win.
He breezed through the first set in just 29 minutes and followed that up with a similarly straightforward second set.
The third was closer, as Djokovic fought off five set points to send it to a tiebreaker, which he won 7-3 to take his first title since the 2016 French Open.
The result also means Djokovic will move back into the top 10 of the men's rankings.
