A rib cartilage injury has ruled out Ofa Tuungafasi from the All Blacks' Bledisloe Cup match against Australia.
Tuungafasi was named on the bench for Saturday's clash at ANZ Stadium in Sydney, but will instead be watching from his couch at home.
The All Blacks confirmed their late change on Thursday, with Tim Perry coming on to the bench.
Perry has yet to play a test match for the All Blacks.
Wellington prop Jeff Toomaga-Allen is en route to Sydney to join the squad as cover.
