Full-time: Warriors 20 (Solomone Kata, David Fusitu'a & Peta Hiku tries; Shaun Johnson four goals) Raiders 16 (Josh Papalii & Elliott Whitehead tries; Sam Williams 4 goals)
Of course, the formalities aren't over yet. Mannering steps forward to receive the match ball from dignitories - Australian RL commissioner Peter Beattie and Auckland Mayor Phil Goff.
He also receives a presentation from former teammate Michael Luck and then takes the microphone. He's choked up and can barely be heard, but no-one cares.
Simon has let his game do the talking for 13 years.
80th minute: Warriors 20 Raiders 16
The siren sounds and the Warriors have held on to win. That's their 15th of the season and they celebrate Mannering's 300th game in style.
They had to work for it, though, and had the benefit of some lucky bounces in the final moments.
79th minute: Warriors 20 Raiders 16
Canberra have the ball 10m out, Austen kicks to the corner, but Rapana knocks on under pressure.
78th minute: Warriors 20 Raiders 16
Raiders run it on the last tackle, but the final pass is forward - and is called forward, more importantly. That's the same spot where Cronulla won the game a few weeks ago with a similarly forward pass.
77th minute: Warriors 20 Raiders 16
Johnson kicks perfectly to the goal-line and Rapan is forced to nudge it dead. Raiders regather from their short drop-out.
75th minute: Warriors 20 Raiders 16
Raiders are penalised for a crusher tackle on Afoa and Johnson kicks into attacking position.
74th minute: Warriors 20 Raiders 16
Sam Williams dives over the try-line, but the refs goes upstairs with 'no try'. The lead runner takes out Afoa and impedes his ability to tackle, so ref's ruling stands.
That's a huge let-off for the Warriors.
73rd minute: Warriors 20 Raiders 16
Tevaga knocks the ball on at the base of the scrum, so possession with Raiders on the 20m line.
72nd minute: Warriors 20 Raiders 16
Austen forces the ball across the try-line and it's sent upstairs for video review. Rapana makes ground down the right wing and puts in a centring kick that eludes Tuivasa-Sheck.
But RTS gets a hand to it and knocks backwards into Austen's out-stretched hand, so it's a knock-on Canberra.
71st minute: Warriors 20 Raiders 16
Pulu runs straight and hard on the last tackle, and draws a penalty. Johnson lines up another shot at goal and stretches the lead.
That kick puts them one point ahead of the Brisbane Broncos on points differential.
69th minute: Warriors 18 Raiders 16
RTS is trying to run off an ankle injury.
Raiders kick from inside their 30m on the last, and RTS gathers the high ball and runs back with speed.
68th minute: Warriors 18 Raiders 16
Bateman is being led off for an HIA - he copped Passi in a tackle and looks dazed.
67th minute: Warriors 18 Raiders 16
RTS jinks and jives, takes a half gap, but is grabbed as he heads to the line. He flicks the ball back, but Johnson has been held up by a defender.
Tuivasa-Sheck is hobbling after that run and receives treatment, as Johnson lines up the penalty - it's good.
64th minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 16
Lino weight a kick over the goal-line on the last tackle and Abbey is forced to run it dead. Raiders drop-out.
62nd minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 16
Williams kicks to the line, but Fusitu'a beats everyone to force it down.
Video replay confirms that. The short drop-out is gathered by the Warriors and Abbey takes Luke with a high tackle.
Luke leaves for an assessment, Warriors kick for territory.
61st minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 16
Boyd charges over, but he's covered in tacklers and held up.

Raiders scrum 10m out.
59th minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 16
Luke is penalised for molesting Bateman in a tackle and the Raiders have good position again. Tevaga is pinged seconds later and Williams lines up a penalty attempt from centre-field.
He scores and it's tied up.
55th minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 14
TRY to Elliott Whitehead.
Hodgson grubbers, Rapana does extremely well to bat the ball back into play in the corner, Kata can't control it and Whitehead can.
Williams converts and it's a two-point game.
54th minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 8
Lino holds his pass to Passi a little too long and it goes forward. Raiders have a scrum on their own 20m.
Leilua is off getting a head injury assessed, Whitehead moves to the centres.
52nd minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 8
Austen puts an angled kick towards the posts and Abbey races through in pursuit, but the ball just beats him dead.
51st minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 8
Maumalo is penalised for not squaring up at marker, so the Raiders have a good attacking opportunity.
50th minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 8
Johnson keeps the ball alive on the last tackle and the Warriors desperately search for a way through, but eventually settle for a grubber that goes nowhere.
48th minute: Warriors 16 Raiders 8
Maumalo runs off the scrum and Canberra are penalised for off-side, right in front of the posts.
It's too tempting to turn down and Johnson converts the goal to put the margin beyond a converted try.
46th minute: Warriors 14 Raiders 8
Luke kicks into the right corner and Raiders are pinned deep. Rapana loses the ball in a tackle, so the Warriors have a scrum just 25m out.
43rd minute: Warriors 14 Raiders 8
TRY to Peta Hiku. The ball heads right towards Fusitu'a's wing, but Johnson delivers a delicate late pass to Hiku and the centre ghosts through to score in the corner.
Johnson converts from out wide. Mannering has a sternum injury and he's replaced by Isaiah Papali'i.
42nd minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 8
Raiders can't make much ground with their set, Austen kicks from deep and the Warriors start their set on halfway.
Mannering leaves the field in pain.
42nd minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 8
Johnson kicks high towards the goal-line on the last tackle and Cotric looks shaky, but takes it.
41st minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 8
Mannering is back out on the field, so he's not about to leave early on this big occasion.
Raiders kick off and Satae runs it back.
Half-time: Warriors 8 (Solomone Kata & David Fusitu'a tries) Raiders 8 (Josh Papalii try; Sam Williams 2 goals)
Locker-room cameras show Mannering with his jersey off and struggling with what looks like some kind of upper-body injury.
He seems to shrug it off and head back towards the field.
40th minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 8
Raiders are working an overlap left, but Austen's final pass drifts forward to Cotric. The half-time siren sounds before the scrum can set.
39th minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 8
Lino is rocked in a tackle from Leilua and stays down - he's badly winded and spills the ball. Raiders grab it and take off up field.
After a few minutes, Lino is back on his feet and back in position.

37th minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 8
Satae is in the game for Passi.

Raiders get two quick penalties and are now camped on the Warriors line. They elect to kick for goal and Williams slots it.
32nd minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 6
Raiders are penalised again inside their 20, the ball goes right, but it's spilled. Cotric gathers and scampers 50m to clear.
30th minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 6
On the last tackle, Lino dribbles the ball along the deck towards the line and Brad Abbey can't gather cleanly. Warriors scrum in the shadow of the posts.
29th minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 6
Joey Leilua tackles Luke high. Warriors take the tap 30m out.
26th minute: Warriors 8 Raiders 6
TRY to David Fusitu'a. Mannering makes an incision, Johnson finds Hiku and when he's tackled, he flicks a miracle back-handed ball to his winger.
That puts Fusitu'a within a try of equalling Francis Meli's club record for a season.
Johnson's conversion drifts right.
25th minute: Warriors 4 Raiders 6
Jazz Tevaga enters the game for Afoa. Austen kicks on the last tackle, but it's out on the full.
24th minute: Warriors 4 Raiders 6
Austen's kick-off goes down the middle and finds space - Johnson has to tidy up, but the Warriors lose ground.
22nd minute: Warriors 4 Raiders 6
TRY to Solomone Kata. Passi straightens the attack and the ball goes left, where Blair makes a dummy run and opens a gap for Kata to run through to the line.
Cecchin goes upstairs for a ruling, but Blair's run is cleared of any illegality. Johnson's conversion hits the right upright and stays out.
21st minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 6
Raiders are back in Warriors territory, but as Austen kicks on the final tackle, Papalii is whistled for an improper play-the-ball.
18th minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 6
Canberra actually seem to be playing with more intent and Williams finds another good, deep touch at the end of their set.
17th minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 6
On the final tackle, Johnson actually kicks backwards and long - Maumalo catches the ball in touch.
16th minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 6
Dunamis Lui is penalised for carrying on with a tackle on Maumalo after the fact. Warriors enter Raiders territory.
13th minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 6
TRY to Josh Papalii for the Raiders. The big Raiders forward picks out Johnson in the defensive line and just overpowers him to swivel over the line.
That try came from Williams' 40-20 and the Canberra half converts.
12th minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 0
But where Luke fails, Sam Williams succeeds with a 40-20 to put the Raiders in great attacking position. This will test the Warriors defence.
11th minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 0
Luke attempts a 40-20 on the fourth tackle, but it holds up on the heavy ground and he never quite has the angle.
Eighth minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 0
Maumalo takes the ball on a nice angle and charges towards the line, but he loses possession.
Seventh minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 0
Lino sees space and kicks early in the Warriors tackle count. It dribbles over the try-line and Abbey is forced to knock it dead for a goal-line drop-out.
Sixth minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 0
Leilua puts a kick ahead to the corner on the last tackle, but it's too big and the Warriors bring it out for 20m tap.
Fourth minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 0
Passi is held up in a tackle and his attempted offload goes to Boyd for a turnover.
Third minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 0
Warriors make good ground with their set and Johnson puts up a high kick towards Fusitu'a's wing. The Canberra defence drops the ball, so the home side has a scrum close to the line.
First minute: Warriors 0 Raiders 0
Warriors kick off and Shannon Boyd is met in the tackle by, who else, Simon Mannering.
Raiders can't make halfway on their first set and Austen kicks deep to RTS, who catches on the full.
*****
The lights have gone out on Mt Smart Stadium, as the Warriors take the field, led by captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
They stop at the edge of the pitch to form a guard of honour for Mannering, accompanied by his family.
Head official is Matt Cecchin, who is also retiring and was honoured by the Warriors here a couple of weeks ago.
*****
Conditions before kick-off are drizzly - it's been a wet old day in Auckland today, so the ground will be greasy.
In other words, it's a great night for footy!
In 35 previous encounters, Canberra have won 18 and the Warriors 17.
*****
In the final hour before the game, coach Stephen Kearney has replaced Gerard Beale with Tevita Satae on the interchange bench.
That means no specialist backs among the reserves, which isn't unusual, but could see Mannering slip back into the centres - where he started - if injuries occur.

Kia ora, good evening and welcome to our live updates of the Warriors vs Raiders clash from Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium.
There's a bit of a buzz around town this week, with the Warriors already guaranteed a spot in the NRL playoffs for the first time in seven years and now hoping to push for a home game in next week's first round. They to win big and hope a bunch of other results go their way for that to happen.
Also, and probably most significantly, Warriors legend Simon Mannering will bring up his 300th game for the club - the first player to achieve this, the second Kiwi to reach the triple-century and the 34th player overall.
It will have been a difficult week for Mannering, who won't have enjoyed being the centre of attention - he'd much rather just get on with preparing for and winning this game.
- The best and worst of Simon Mannering's beard challenge
- Biographer's cat-and-mouse game with Warriors great Simon Mannering
- Warriors promise better than 'Mannering Stadium' renaming
There will be speeches and presentations, no doubt, afterwards, but he won't want any of that to disrupt the Warriors' build-up, with so much still to play for.
The other thing to watch out for tonight is David Fusitu'a's attempt to chase down Francis Melli's club record for tries in a season.
Fusitu'a has 21 and needs two more to match Meli's 2003 effort.
The Warriors have had to make one late change to their named line-up for tonight - prop James Gavet was scratched after Thursday's Captain's Run, replaced in the starting 13 by Bunty Afoa, with Leivaha Pulu promoted to the interchange.
The Raiders are as named on Tuesday.
Line-ups for tonight's encounter are:
Warriors: 1-Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, 2-David Fusitu'a, 3-Peta Hiku, 4-Solomone Kata, 5-Ken Maumalo, 6-Mason Lino, 7-Shaun Johnson, 16-Bunty Afoa, 9-Issac Luke, 10-Agnatius Passi, 11-Adam Blair, 12-Tohu Harris, 13-Simon Mannering
Interchange: 14-Jazz Tevaga, 15-Isaiah Papali'i, 17-Gerard Beale, 18-Leivaha Pulu
Raiders: 1-Brad Abbey, 2-Nick Cotric, 3-Michael Oldfield, 4-Joseph Leilua, 5-Jordan Rapana, 6-Blake Austin, 7-Sam Williams, 8-Dunamis Lui, 9-Josh Hodgson, 10-Shannon Boyd, 11-Iosia Siliola, 12-Elliott Whitehead, 13-Josh Papalii
Interchange: 14-Enre Guler, 15-Junior Paulo, 16-Siliva Havili, 17-Luke Bateman
More to come
