Returning Silver Ferns Casey Kopua and Laura Langman are in no doubt who they want to see as Silver Ferns coach - their former mentor Noeline Taurua.
The two former national captains have been included in the New Zealand squad for the remainder of the year, with Langman earning a place in the 12-strong side for the Quad Series next month.

Kopua has yet to fully recover from a foot injury, but has been selected as part of the wider squad of 19.
Speaking to Newshub, 33-year-old Kopua said Taurua is the right candidate to take New Zealand Netball out of the doldrums.
"If there is any one that could do it, she could," Kopua said. "She takes no crap and has a huge passion for the game and gets the best out of her players.
"She has that out of-the-box coaching style where nothing is right or wrong and different is great. She has a great feel for the team and really understands a good culture and gets everyone together - and that's important to me."
Langman agreed with her former Bay of Plenty Magic teammate, telling Newshub it would be "fantastic" if Taurua was appointed head coach next month.
Taurua is currently in charge of the Sunshine Coast Lightning, who are looking to win a second consecutive Australian title next weekend.
New Zealand Netball wouldn't confirm if the former Silver Fern had been contacted about the job, but she clearly has the support of the players, including current captain Katrina Grant, who has endorsed a potential appointment.
"She is strong-willed and know what she wants," Grant told Newshub. "She has her own way of doing things which is exciting.
"She has been there, done that - and achieved championship titles."
Grant also stated that the parting of ways with former coach Janine Southby was best for New Zealand Netball, which Kopua agrees with.
"I think it was the right decision for herself, for New Zealand and for netball," Kopua told Newshub.
"There were probably more things going on there than anybody knows but at the end of the day she had to do what was right for her and for netball."
Kopua is excited to link back up with Langman later in the year against Australia, when she expects to return from the medical ward.
The two have played almost their entire careers together in Waikato and for the Silver Ferns, and Kopua has lauded the credentials of the fiery midcourter.
"We first started out together when we were 15, 16 years of age," Kopua said. "She is so passionate and so good at what she does.
"I don't know why you wouldn't want to have her as part of the Silver Ferns. She is coming back fresh and energised and really looking forward to playing for New Zealand again."
Kopua has confirmed to Newshub that regaining the captaincy wasn't part of the motivation to return, although if asked she would consider it.
The 88-test veteran said she just wants to add to the team environment in any way she can.
"I want to have that passion and positivity - the 'live for the game' is what I want to bring through," Kopua said.
"I'm not bothered about that [captaincy]. I had my time as captain and if I am part of the team without that responsibility then I am fine with that.
"I am willing to speak up and do whatever is the best for the team."
Kopua confirmed to Newshub she would not have been available for selection had Southby retained control of the team.
