Stop the press: The Warriors can win the 2018 NRL Premiership.
That's the opinion of rugby league immortal Mal Meninga, who himself is a three time NRL champion with the Canberra Raiders.

The former Queensland coach has been promoting the Warriors stock all season, and believes, given the inconsistency of all eight finals bound sides, the Auckland club can cause a major upset in September.
"I think the Warriors can do it," Meninga told Fox Sports.
"I said before the season kicked off that they were a chance of making the eight…they are a very dangerous football team.
"We've seen most teams have been inconsistent all year really.
"When the Warriors are on they are on," Meninga said.
The Raiders legend is hedging his bets somewhat however, proclaiming the 2018 finals series the closest in recent memory.
Meninga told Fox Sport that it doesn't matter where you end up in the eight as all sides have the ability to go all the way.
"I think anyone in the top eight can win the competition, that’s how great the competition is at the moment," Meninga said.
The Warriors play the Raiders on Friday night hunting for a win to keep their hopes alive of a guaranteed home playoff match.
