All Blacks: Argentina halfback Martin Landajo wary of under-strength NZ side

Argentina halfback Martin Landajo has slammed suggestions his side have an excellent opportunity to beat an under-strength All Blacks side for the first time in Nelson Saturday.

The All Blacks are resting several big-name players, including Liam Squire, Sam Cane, Aaron Smith, Beauden Barrett, Ryan Crotty, Rieko Ioane and Jordie Barrett.

Coach Steve Hansen has brought one-test internationals Richie Mo'unga and Shannon Frizell into the starting side, while halfback Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi is in line to make his debut off the bench.

With many big names missing, there has been plenty of talk that this is a golden chance for the Pumas to claim their first-ever win over New Zealand, but Landajo thinks the All Blacks will always pose a challenge, regardless of who's on the field.

"We really don't think like that," said the 80-test international. "Every team makes changes.

"Every team tries to put some players on the field to look at them. We're just thinking about what we do on Saturday.

"It's the All Blacks, and we're just thinking about what we do on Saturday and what we do in training. We are not looking at them."

"We're just thinking about our things, our changes and our team. We've tried to have a good week in Auckland and we'll try to have a good game on Saturday.

"That's the only thing we're thinking about."

In 26 matches between the two nations, the All Blacks have won 25, with one draw in 1985.

But the Pumas head into the match full of confidence, as they beat South Africa in their last match 32-19 a fortnight ago.

"We have to keep playing as we've been doing. We like to attack, but we know what to do in every part of the field, so nothing will change from what we've been doing.

"Having a victory over South Africa helps, but it means nothing, if we don't execute what we've been doing at training on Saturday."
