All Blacks utility back Damian McKenzie McKenzie has been ruled out of the Rugby Championship test against Argentina in Buenos Aires on Sunday, due to a family bereavement.
The All Blacks confirmed McKenzie had returned home to New Zealand to be with his family.
"We want to wish the McKeznie family all the best and we pass out our deepest sympathies," said Hansen.
Hansen confirmed McKenzie will re-join the All Blacks in South Africa for the final Rugby Championship test in Pretoria.
McKenzie has featured in all seven tests for the All Blacks this season.
The All Blacks side to face Argentina will be named later today.
