All Blacks midfielder Sonny Bill Williams has dropped out of the team to face South Africa in a Rugby Championship clash in Wellington on Saturday.
The cross-code star hasn't played for the national rugby side since the French series in June, when he injured a shoulder.
He has overcome that complaint and was named to return against the Springboks this morning, despite illness in recent days.
That illness has ultimately seen him withdraw from the All Blacks bench. He will be replaced by Crusaders midfield Jack Goodhue, with Ryan Crotty and Anton Lienert-Brown starting in the centres.
