Sonny Bill Williams will face Stu 'The Bachelor' Laundy in his next boxing venture on Saturday, December 1 in Sydney.
The charity fight night - billed as 'The Banger under the Hanger', a play on the Sydney Harbour Bridge's 'coathanger' nickname - will also include a host of big-name sports stars and personalities.
Laundy, who is unbeaten in the boxing ring, won Australia's The Bachelorette TV show in 2017, winning the heart of former pop star Sophie Monk.
They have since parted ways.
Former Australian world champion Jeff Fenech will also come out of retirement to take on amateur fighter and businessman Mark Borius.
Current All Blacks squad member Williams is undefeated as a professional, winning seven straight, including a decision win over South African journeyman Francois Botha.
Williams is a former New Zealand and WBA International heavyweight champion, but was stripped of both titles in 2013, due to inactivity.
His appearance will help raise money for the Auckland City Mission, with the winner declared 'world heavyweight champion of the homeless and needy', and receiving a world championship belt signed by boxing legend Mike Tyson.
"I'm looking forward to getting back in the ring again," says Williams. "I know this will be a hard fight for me after being out of the ring for three years.
"Some people will say I'll be rusty, but I can't wait. I know I'll put on a good show and the cause is a great one.
"It feels good to be giving something back."
