The New Zealand Warriors will travel to the Blue Mountains to take on the Penrith Panthers, as a result of the Brisbane Broncos' 48-16 win over Manly.
The Warriors first appearance in the finals since 2011 came very close to having a different path altogether, with Wayne Bennett's side just one-point away from finishing fifth and a date with the New Zealand club.
On a crazy afternoon for all sides in the bottom half of the top eight, Brisbane went from eighth to sixth, relegating the Dragons and Warriors in the process.
The 32-point win finally unveiled the playoff picture, with the Dragons travelling to Brisbane, Melbourne Storm hosting the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the in-form Sharks taking on minor premiers Sydney Roosters, along with the Panthers/Warriors clash.
Stephen Kearney's side should hold no fears travelling to Penrith, after a comprehensive 36-16 win last week in Auckland.
Earlier, the Sharks secured fourth spot with a 30-18 win over the Bulldogs in Sydney.
Cronulla finished the season with four straight wins.
