OPINION: The All Blacks' 35-17 win over the Pumas in Buenos Aires was a great bounce-back for Steve Hansen's side, after a loss in Wellington two weeks ago.
The defence took a hammering against a physical Springboks side at Westpac Stadium, but that was well and truly rectified in numbing attack after attack from a very good Argentinian outfit.
Overall, it was a pretty solid effort, but who stood out among the rest?
15. Ben Smith - 7
Probably the quietest test of 2018 for Smith. Nice pass put Ioane over early and was mistake-free for 60 minutes.
14. Waisake Naholo - 7
Beautiful run that led to the All Blacks' opening five-pointer. Had a few mistakes in him, but looked dangerous in broken play.
13. Ryan Crotty - 7
Solid outing from the Crusaders centre. Made a few uncharacteristic handling errors, but his defensive effort was mammoth.
12. Sonny Bill Williams - 6
Unlucky to be carded after back-to-back team penalties. Relatively error-free, solid defensive effort and a trademark offload that almost led to a third try for Ioane.
11. Rieko Ioane - 8
Superb in the first half, Ioane is the best finisher in world rugby at the moment and poses a nightmare for defenders in broken play. The Smith-Naholo-Ioane combination is the ABs' most potent.
10. Beauden Barrett - 6
Flawless with the boot, which will answer a few critics. Didn't have the best overall game, with some aimless kicking and a couple of handling errors.
9. TJ Perenara - 8
That's three great tests on the bounce for the Hurricanes halfback. Really starting to pressure Smith as the ABs' best number nine.
His option-taking was outstanding in the win, as was his scrum defence.
8. Ardie Savea - 9
His best test to date? Certainly up there and the standout All Black on the night.
May have leapfrogged Luke Whitelock with that performance as a backup to Kieran Read. Speed, power and athleticism in spades.
7. Sam Cane - 9
An absolute defensive brute during the 80 minutes. Earned two first-half turnovers to boot and a nice pick 'n' go set up Tuipulotu for his try.
6. Shannon Frizell - 6
Quiet and error-ridden. Had a breakout performance in Nelson, but couldn't back that up this time around.
Three errors in the first 12 minutes, but he also made close to 10 tackles in the same period. Deserves another shot at starting.
5. Sam Whitelock - 8
Was surprisingly subbed with a half-hour to go, but was simply outstanding while on the park. Won a couple lineouts on Pumas ball and tackled Argentina into submission in the first half.
4. Scott Barrett - 5
Woeful in the second half, after a fairly solid first 40 minutes. Stole two Puma throws, but his hands let him down in general play.
3. Ofa Tuungafasi - 8
Stood up when given the chance to start a test. The All Black scrum was on point, humbling the opposition in the first half.
Was good around the park, both with the ball and without.
2. Codie Taylor - 6
Lineout-throwing let him down big time. Was part of a dominant scrum, but he would be disappointed with his overall performance, given the high standards he has set in 2018.
1. Karl Tu'inukuafe - 8
What a find Tu'inukuafe has been in 2018. Credit to the selectors for recognising his talent, but also to the player for developing into a genuine world-class prop in less than nine months.
Hasn't put a foot wrong all year.
16. Nathan Harris - 7
17. Tim Perry - 7
18. Angus Ta'avao - 7
Another great story of 2018. Didn't look out of place at international level in his 30-minute stay.
19. Patrick Tuipulotu - 7
Adds serious physicality off the bench and was rewarded with a try. Love what he brings to the All Blacks tight five as a bench player.
Could put Barrett under pressure as the back-up to Whitelock and Retallick, come World Cup time.
20. Jackson Hemopo - 6
21. Aaron Smith - 7
22. Richie Mo'unga - 8
Didn't get enough time to score higher, but was on his way. Made a decent impact off the bench and benefited from Smith's bullet pass.
23. Anton Lienert-Brown - 7
