American Brooks Koepka has been voted the best golfer on the PGA Tour's best golfer in 2018.
The 28-year-old earned the award through a poll of his peers ahead of Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Open champion Francesco Molinari, Justin Rose and Justin Thomas.
The Floridian returned from a lengthy injury break to defend his U.S Open crown. He became the first golfer since 1989 to win it in consecutive years.
Kopeka also went on to claim a second major at the PGA Championship, where he set a new scoring record.
He joined the ranks of the PGA Tour's elite during the season as he became the fifth American since 1945 with three or more major wins before the age of 29 and the fifth player to win the US Open and PGA Championship in the same campaign.
"Brooks has brought a new brand of athleticism to the PGA Tour, and we saw the results this year with his historic season at the major championships and a top-10 finish in the FedExCup," PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan said.
"These feats were accomplished despite missing significant time due to injury, a testament to his work ethic and perseverance throughout the season."
Koepka had already the PGA of America Player of the Year, which is awarded on a points-based system.
PGA Tour members who played in at least 15 FedExCup events during the 2017-18 season were eligible to vote.
His season ended with the low of a heavy Ryder Cup defeat in Paris, where he was also left "heartbroken" by a tee shot which resulted in a spectator losing sight in her eye.
