Liverpool have beaten Serbian side Red Star Belgrade 4-0 at Anfield to go top of their UEFA Champions League group on Thursday morning.
The Group C clash saw the English side go up in the 20th minute, thanks to a deflected shot from striker Roberto Firmino.
The home side extended their lead minutes before half-time, when Egyptian Mo Salah finished a great team move to take a 2-0 lead to the break.
The Reds dominated, with 12 shots on target for the game, compared to none from the away side.
In the 50th minute, Red Star Belgrade captain Filip Stojkovic conceded a controversial penalty for pushing Sadio Mane in the box.
Salah converted from the spot, after smashing the penalty straight, beating the keeper diving to his left.
Liverpool could have had more, but Mane missed a penalty in the 76th minute, when goalkeeper Milan Borjan made a great save to his right, tipping the shot onto the bar.
Mane got his goal four minutes later, poking home a pass from striker Daniel Sturridge to make the final score 4-0.
Liverpool are now one point clear of Napoli in Group C, after the Italians drew 2-2 in the other game of the group against Paris Saint Germain.
In other games, Borussia Dortmund smashed Atletico Madrid 4-0,. Barcelona beat Inter Milan 2-0 and FC Porto beat Lokomotiv Moscow 3-1.
Short-handed Spurs conceded a late goal to draw 2-2 with PSV. Brugge and Monaco drew 1-1, and Glatasaray and Schalke played out a 0-0 draw in Turkey.
