Joe Schmidt has made four changes to his Ireland side for Sunday's (NZ time) clash with the All Blacks at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Rob Kearney replaces Jordan Larmour at fullback, while Garry Ringrose comes in for the injured Robbie Henshaw to partner NZ-born second-five Bundee Aki in the midfield.
In the forwards, Iain Henderson makes way for Devin Toner in the second row, while the injured Sean O'Brien is replaced by Leinster teammate Dan Leavy at openside flanker.
"There were some tough decisions in there - some very good players we've left out, some players who played very well in the first two games, but don't get the opportunity," said coach Schmidt. "Unfortunately, you can only name 23 players."
"Everyone felt they were in with a chance, so there were some disappointed players.
"We had a few guys who needed to get through a couple of trainings. It's never ideal and even at the end of training, we were still making some decisions for Saturday to make sure guys got through fully."
The All Blacks made only one injury-enforced change, after beating England 16-15 last weekend.
Ryan Crotty rejoins Crusaders partner Jack Goodhue in midfield, after Sonny Bill Williams injured a shoulder against England.
Anton Lienert-Brown joined the reserves in Crotty's place.
Ireland, who moved up to second place in the world rankings during last season's victorious Six Nations campaign, will be looking for only their second victory over the All Blacks to lay down a major marker before next year's World Cup.
"It's always an achievement to beat the All Blacks, that's why we limit ourselves to once every 115 years," Kiwi Schmidt joked, referring to Ireland's 40-29 victory two years ago. "We don't want to get carried away with things.
"When they first arrived [in Ireland] in 1905, they were incredibly tough to knock over and I don't think they've changed too much.
"The depth of their experience, it is formidable and it would be a huge feather in these players' caps if they could topple them on Saturday."
