8:08am - The game is over and Pakistan win by six wickets. Mohammad Hafeez came up big late to guide the hosts to another series win. The Blackcaps struggled once again in the middle of their innings and some poor bowling late means Pakistan have won.
Twentieth Over: Pakistan 154/4 Mohammad Hafeez 30 Sarfraz Ahmed 0
One over left in Abu Dhabi. Pakistan need seven runs off the final over. Adam Milne will bowl for the Blackcaps.
WICKET: Shoaib Malik is gone as he hits it straight to Glenn Phillips at deep square leg. Pakistan need six off four balls.
Captain Sarfraz Ahmed is out at the crease. Next ball Mohammad Hafeez hits a four and that is it.
Nineteenth Over: Pakistan 146/3 Mohammad Hafeez 26 Shoaib Malik 10
Just 14 runs needed off the final 12 balls. This is going to be epic. But Tim Southee is handing the hosts the win on a silver platter with back-to-back wides. It is now 11 off 11.
Eighteenth Over: Pakistan 139/3 Mohammad Hafeez 24 Shoaib Malik 8
Twenty-three runs needed off 18 balls here. Shoaib Malik now wants in on the six party and now Pakistan are really in the box seat now.

Mohammad Hafeez hits another six and all of a sudden, Pakistan are in with a great chance here. Two balls later, Hafeez hits another six.

Asif Ali goes bang at the end of the over with a much-needed six.
WICKET: Next ball, Ali is gone with an LBW. He's gone for 38. Colin Munro comes up huge
Fifteenth Over: Pakistan 104/2 Asif Ali 30 Mohammad Hafeez 4
The hosts finally bring up 100. They need 52 more runs with 30 balls left. That run-rate has gone up a little more now.
Fourtheenth Over: Pakistan 99/2 Asif Ali 28 Mohammad Hafeez 1
Colin Munro comes in for his usual cameo and it was a good calss are he only gave up three runs.
Thirteenth Over: Pakistan 96/2 Asif Ali 26 Mohammad Hafeez 0
Asif Ali smashes Tim Southee for six which will help the hosts so much at cruch time.
WICKET: Babar Azam is gone. Southee with the wicket and Lockie Ferguson with the catch. Ferguson has just come onto the field as a sub.
Twelfth Over: Pakistan 87/1 Babar Azam 39 Asif Ali 20
Another good bowling spell from de Grandhomme, as the run-rate starts to lift again.
Eleventh Over: Pakistan 83/1 Babar Azam 37 Asif Ali 18
Ish Sodhi bowls to Asif Ali and the ball goes striaght up, but de Grandhomme drops the ball. Next ball there is a shout for a run-out, but the Pakistan batsman is well safe.
Tenth Over: Pakistan 75/1 Babar Azam 31 Asif Ali 17
We're halfway through and Pakistan are just under halfway through catching NZ's total. They need to lift that run-rate ever so slightly.
Ninth Over: Pakistan 70/1 Babar Azam 29 Asif Ali 14
Ish Sodhi comes into the attack or the first time and has a respectable first over, as Pakistan bring up 70.
Eighth Over: Pakistan 61/1 Babar Azam 27 Asif Ali 5
Good bolwing over from Colin de Grandhomme. Pakistan are just below the required run-rate needed.
Seventh Over: Pakistan 57/1 Babar Azam 24 Asif Ali 5
Anotehr quiet over from the hosts. Usually happens after the power-play but i'd say they're still in the box seat here for a win.
Sixth Over: Pakistan 50/1 Babar Azam 22 Asif Ali 2
Eight runs off that over and Pakistan brings up 50.
Fifth Over: Pakistan 42/1 Babar Azam 16 Asif Ali 1
WICKET: Kane Williamson takes a magical catch to dismiss Fakhar Zaman. He makes a stunning one-handed dive to take the big wicket.
Fourth Over: Pakistan 35/0 Fakhar Zaman 24 Babar Azam 10
Fantastic over from Tim Southee as Pakistan only score two runs from that over.
Third Over: Pakistan 33/0 Fakhar Zaman 23 Babar Azam 9
Fakhar Zaman shows Colin Munro how to hit a six and the ball goes into the third tier in the stands. That was massive.
Second Over: Pakistan 22/0 Fakhar Zaman 15 Babar Azam 6
A little inside edge from Frahan and the ball goes to four. Pakistan are not messing around here. They get another four in the over and Pakistan are on fire.
First Over: Pakistan 11/0 Fakhar Zaman 10 Babar Azam 1
Pakistan start their innings with back-to-back fours. Mix that in with a couple of singles and you have a fantastic first over.
6:30am - The Blackcaps finish on153/7 meaning Pakistan need 154 to win. On Thursday, NZ needed 149 so it is a few more than two days ago.
Twentieth Over: Blackcaps 153/7 Corey Anderson 44 Adam Milne
WICKET: Seifert starts the over with a six, but he's out on the next ball. Afridi has three wickets today now.
WICKET: Two balls later, NZ want Anderson back on strike and Tim Southee is run-out.
Nineteenth Over: Blackcaps 142/5 Corey Anderson 39 Tim Seifert 5
Great start to the over with Tim Seifert getting four runs after an Anderson single. Anderson then hits a six two balls later to claim much-needed runs.
Eighteenth Over: Blackcaps 126/5 Corey Anderson 28 Tim Seifert 0
WICKET: Kane Williamson is gone for 37. The skipper hits it straight to the fielder at deep square leg. Shaheen Afridi gets his second wicket.
What an over that was from Afridi only gave up one run off that over while taking a wicket also after the Blackcaps were amazing in the previous.
Seventeenth Over: Blackcaps 125/4 Kane Williamson 37 Corey Anderson 27
A big swing and a miss there for Corey Anderson. Next ball, he connects his bat to the ball and it goes for six. He backs that up with back-to-back fours and these are huge runs here.
Sixteenth Over: Blackcaps 109/4 Kane Williamson 36 Corey Anderson 12
The fours are coming fast for the Blackcaps now as Williamson finds the ropes again.
Fifteenth Over: Blackcaps 101/4 Kane Williamson 30 Corey Anderson 10
A much-needed boundary from Anderson there and the Blackcaps close in on 100. In the end, it proves to be a great over with another four.
Fourteenth Over: Blackcaps 90/4 Kane Williamson 27 Corey Anderson 2
Kane Williamson brings up his quarter-century if that is even a thing. Another strong bowling over from Shaheen Afridi.
Thirteenth Over: Blackcaps 85/4 Kane Williamson 24 Corey Anderson 0
Kane Williamson finalls finds the ropes and the Blackcaps claim a much-needed runs.
WICKET: Next ball, a poor call to run has cost Ross Taylor and he depares for three. Had a feeling that was comming.
The over ends with NZ on 85/4. At this stage in the first match, the Kiwis were 86/3.
Twelfth Over: Blackcaps 76/3 Kane Williamson 17 Ross Taylor 2
Only three runs and a no-ball from that over.
Eleventh Over: Blackcaps 72/3 Kane Williamson 15 Ross Taylor 1
Quiet over for NZ with a couple of singles and then they picked up two runs off the final ball.
Tenth Over: Blackcaps 68/3 Kane Williamson 12 Ross Taylor 0
Some more poor fielding gifts the Blackcaps another run and these might start adding up.
WICKET: But they make up for their mistake and Colin de Grandhomme is gone for four. This is just like the first T20 as it's been ages since NZ hit a boundary also.
Ninth Over: Blackcaps 65/2 Kane Williamson 10 Colin de Grandhomme 3
Some nice bowling from Pakistan limits the Blackcaps to a handful of runs in that over. NZ are just starting to struggle here. 18/2 in the last four over.
Eighth Over: Blackcaps 62/2 Kane Williamson 8 Colin de Grandhomme 2
A very conservative over by New Zealand after losing the wicket in the last over.
Seventh Over: Blackcaps 56/2 Kane Williamson 4 Colin de Grandhomme 0
More confusion from the Blackcaps and Pakistan have another golden run-out chance, but they don't convert.
WICKET: Is this a repeat of Thursday? Now Colin Munro is gone for 44 as he was stumped. Two wickets in two overs.
Sixth Over: Blackcaps 50/1 Colin Munro 43 Kane Williamson 0
Murno gets a couple more runs to start the over as he gets even closer to another 50. The Blackcaps bring up 50.
WICKET: But as a good partnership is built, Glenn Phillips is out for fivem and it is 18-year-old Shaheen Afridi who comes up big.
Fifth Over: Blackcaps 47/0 Colin Munro 40 Glenn Phillips 5
Poor start to the over by Pakistan with back-to-back no-balls. Munro hits another four and he closes in on 40.
Fourth Over: Blackcaps 36/0 Colin Munro 33 Glenn Phillips 3
Munro gets another six off the second ball and he is in excellent form. Next ball he goes for it again, and it goes straight up in the air, and wow! Hafeez drops the ball. He caught it cleanly but when he landed on the ground, the ball popped out.
Third Over: Blackcaps 29/0 Colin Munro 26 Glenn Phillips 3
Mohammad Hafeez nearly gets Munro out with his first ball, but the Kiwi was in a good position to prevent the LBW. Two balls later, there is a run-out chance, but poor fielding means the Kiwis have enough time to get to the safe zone. There is another LBW shout, but no luck.
Second Over: Blackcaps 22/0 Colin Munro 20 Glenn Phillips 2
First ball of the second over is a dot, and he backs that up with back-to-back fours.
First Over: Blackcaps 13/0 Colin Munro 11 Glenn Phillips 2
Colin Munro starts the innings with a six. Looks like he's in the same mood he was in on Thursday when he finished on 58. Second ball, he gets three runs. In total, New Zealand gets an impressive 13 runs off the over.

Pre-match banter: Blackcaps rue middle-order collapse against Pakistan
The Blackcaps pushed the best T20 team in the world to the limit, before losing to Pakistan by two runs in the opening game in Abu Dhabi on Thursday (NZ time).
Chasing 149 to win, experienced veteran Ross Taylor needed a six off the last ball to tie the match, but could only manage a four.
It was a tough loss for New Zealand, considering they were in the match until their mini-collapse.
Opener Colin Munro top-scored with 58 off 42 balls, before his wicket sparked the collapse midway through New Zealand's chase.
After losing Munro, the Blackcaps lost two more wickets and managed just 14 off the next three overs to leave them needing 53 off the last five.
The ultimately fell two runs short in the first of three T20s.
Munro said the middle of their innings was probably where the game was decided.
"I lost my wicket and then Kane got out, sort of like a bang-bang, and after the power play, their spinners came on and squeezed," he said. "You've got to give them credit.
"They bowled really well, they know these conditions really well and it suited them a little bit tonight, and we just got outplayed, just I reckon.
"It was a pretty even game and we didn't really lose our way anywhere, I don't think. They just bowled really well and we just couldn't capitalise through the middle there.
"It was an even game. We didn't lose our way, they just bowled well and we couldn't capitalise in the middle."
World number one Pakistan have now won 12 of their last 13 T20 internationals, including five straight against Australia.
The match was also New Zealand's first since the test series against England back in March.
Blackcaps captain Kane Williamson said there were many positives to take from the defeat.
"You could look at heaps of different parts to the game, whether that was bat or ball,” he said. “There were a lot of positives to take out of it and we've seen in T20 cricket over here how clinical Pakistan are.
"It just means refining little bits of your game and it can make all the difference.
"Colin [Munro] played beautifully and got a few away, and gave us a really good power play. Then, in those middle phases, spin over here can be quite challenging and you do have to soak up those dot balls."
"It was a good game of cricket. Pakistan deserved to win, but we need to learn and move on quickly."
