Axed Toro Rosso driver Brendon Hartley is reportedly considering a move to the Formula E racing series for the 2019/20 season.
The Kiwi was released by the F1 team on Tuesday, after a stuttering first full season in Formula One, where he scored four competition points in 21 races, finishing 19th in the Drivers' Championship.
Hartley has been replaced by 22-year-old British/Thai drover Alexander Albon, who will team with Russian Daniel Kvyat in the Red Bull junior team for the 2019 season.

According to motorsport website racer.com, Hartley is currently evaluating a number of different racing opportunities for 2019, with the end of the year set to see a Porsche factory team enter Formula E.
The 29-year-old has strong connections to Porsche, having won two Word Endurance Championship (WEC) titles with the German manufacturer as well as the 2017 Le Mans 24 Hour race.
New Zealanders Mitch Evans has raced the last two seasons with Jaguar in Formula E.
What makes the move interesting is that an Auckland-based consortium has bid to bring a round of the Formula E series to New Zealand for the 19/20 season, which would take place on the city's streets.
Even though Hartley is evaluating his options, he is still determined to race in F1 again.
"I left the circuit on Sunday with my head held high," Hartley said. "I'm very proud of my story and journey so far but am left feeling I have unfinished business in F1.
"For the moment that has been put on hold. I've hit speed bumps before and I am a strong believer that tough situations make you stronger, also helps that I have a great New Zealand support crew, family, friends and wife.
"I also want to thank my trainer Rich and almost all of the 500-strong Toro Rosso staff who I have stood beside and have enjoyed working with this season, all of the engineering team, the mechanics, marketing, PR, logistics, hospitality crew, factory staff and of course all at Honda Racing.
"I really do appreciate the support I have received from fans across the globe this year. I still have plenty more pages to write in my story and will make the most of the opportunities in the next chapter."
