Kiwi heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker admits there will be no more Mr Nice Guy ahead of his fight with American Alexander Flores at Horncastle Arena in Christchurch next month.
Viewers of the December 15 fight can expect to see different tactics from Joseph Parker.
Questions over whether or not he can show a mongrel side were answered by the 26-year-old from South Auckland.
"If I have to punch him in the balls I'll punch him in the balls, Parker said.
"If I have to elbow his face I will, if he tries any dirty tricks I'll counter with some dirtier ones."
It's something Parker and Kevin Barry have been working on in their latest training camp as they prepare for the fight.
"People were asking if I could be mongrel, ask my sparring partners.
"I've tripped them up here and there I've thrown them around.
"We've always talked about being more aggressive and not being Mr nice guy, I haven't shown it in camp before this.
"If you don't show it in camp then how can you see it in a fight?"
Joseph Parker also addressed the claims from Flores saying the Kiwi lacked fitness.
"I've been 12 rounds many times now, he hasn't been 10 before, my stamina is good, and I'm always ready to go."
