Former All Blacks prop Wyatt Crockett will captain the Barbarians against Argentina in the Killik Cup at Twickenham on Sunday (NZ time).

The prop is a World Cup winner with 71 tests behind him and the most-capped player in Super Rugby history, with 202 appearances for the Crusaders.

He is one of four New Zealanders in the 23-man squad, along with new Chiefs signing Jack Debreczeni at fullback, while Jordan Taufua will make his comeback off the bench, after breaking his arm in the Super Rugby final.

Auckland-born Tongan international Leon Fukofuka has been named at halfback.

Springboks boss Rassie Erasmus, who is coaching the Barbarians for this weekend's match, has named eight South African players in his side, including Siya Kolisi and World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year Aphiwe Dyantyi.

This will be the fourth time the Barbarians face Argentina in their 128-year history.

The Pumas were beaten 34-22 at Cardiff 1990, but won the 2015 rematch 49-31. Lood de Jager is the sole survivor from the Baa-baas side that day.
