Steven Adams has responded to his All Star snub with a monster performance in the Thunder's win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
Just a couple of hours after being overlooked for as a Western Conference starter in Charlotte next month, Adams blitzed the visiting Pelicans to the tune of 20 points and 10 rebounds on nine of 11 shooting in their 122-116 victory.
The Kiwi did most of his damage in the first two quarters, going into halftime with 18 points and seven rebounds to his name.
Point guard Russell Westbrook recorded a huge triple-double of 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 16 assists, while All Star starter Paul George came up trumps with 23 points, 11 boards, and seven assists.
Guard Jrue Holiday was the best of the Pelicans with 22 points, 13 assists, and nine rebounds.
The Thunder now travel to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks on Monday.
