The Chiefs have rung the changes for their NZ derby match against the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday.
All Blacks Nathan Harris and Nepo Laulala will return to start in the front row, moving Samisoni Taukei'aho and Angus Ta'avao to the bench.
A new locking tandem of Brodie Retallick and Tyler Ardron will join the pack, with Michael Allardice being ruled out after sustaining an injury in training.
Lachlan Boshier gets the nod as the starting number seven ahead of Mitchell Karpik who has been named in the reserves.
In the backs, All Blacks second-five Anton Lienert-Brown slots back into the midfield after a week of rest, while fullback Solomon Alaimalo returns from injury to earn his first start of the season.
New Australian recruit Jack Debreczeni will also get his first chance to impress, after being named on the bench.
Winless from their first three games, coach Colin Cooper realises it will take an enormous effort to break that streak against the unbeaten defending champions.
"We have gone back to basics and have focused on what we can control as a team," said Cooper.
"We welcome the return of a couple of our team who have been out with injury or on leave. These guys are ready to go and eager to play and bring great energy into the team which we will need to combat an impressive Crusaders team."
