The Highlanders and Bulls have played out the seventh draw of the Super Rugby season with a nail-biting 24 all draw in Dunedin.
Josh McKay and Waisake Naholo scored two tries each in the match but it was in vain as they blew a golden opportunity to go into the top eight in the standings.
The home side dominated the opening plays of the match but couldn't get on the score sheet due to errors and a strong Bulls scrum.
That changed in the 12th minute when halfback Aaron Smith put a chip kick over the defensive line to Dylan Sage who was hurrying back - he fumbled the ball which allowed fullback Josh McKay to score the opening try.
The Bulls thought they had hit back just three minutes later when lock Jason Jenkins crossed the line, but it was called back for a knock on in the build-up.
Fan favourite Waisake Naholo scored a try in the 22nd minute after Rob Thompson kicked a ball through for the winger.

The game opened up as both defences started to tire - Rob Thompson took advantage of it to set up McKay to score his second at take the score to 19-7.
The Bulls had the final say in the first half, Jenkins getting his try after having an earlier one disallowed to take the score to 19-14 at the break.
The game was just as open and free-flowing in the second half as Naholo scored his second of the match in the 54th minute to open up a 10-point lead.

The Bulls charged home in the final 15 minutes - throwing wave after wave of relentless attack at the Highlanders, they finally cracked with five minutes to go as Jaco Visagie scored.

Both sides had plenty of chances to win the game, the visitors knocking the ball on and the Highlanders struggling to take the Bull by the horns and turn something into points , an entertaining game ending in a 24-all deadlock.
