45 min: Aaron Smith and Tavita Li try and combine but a mistake - knock on and the Bulls get a scrum.
42 min: After a pretty hectic first half - it could come down to stamina and who tires first.

43 min: The Highlanders keep attacking after the hooter, keeping the ball in their hands but a knock on from the Bulls sees half time come.

34 min: TRY - Highlanders, a try from nowhere - the home side throw the ball around before Rob Thompson breaks the line to send the fullback, McKay in for another try. Kick is good. Highlanders 19 - 7 Bulls.

31 min: Really fast footy tonight - both team throwing everything on offence. Knock on from the Highlanders and the Bulls clear.
28 min: TRY - Bulls, a nice kick in behind from the Bulls and Naholo lets it bounce, it falls straight to Rossouw and he is over for a try. Kick is good. HIghlanders 12 - 7 Bulls.
27 min: Handre Pollard takes om the line but the Landers do well at the breakdown and they earn a penalty.
22 min: TRY - Highlanders, really well worked try for the hosts - Waisake Naholo gets the bounce from a Rob Thompson kick and the winger scores. Kick is wide. Highlanders 12 - 0 Bulls.
21 min: Backwards and forwards game here, really open with lots of running but also - lots of errors.
18 min: Brits has another huge run but the Highlanders win the turnover and have a little kicking battle before Divan Rossouw kicks the ball out.
15 min: Boom that was awesome, off the lineout it's Schalk Brits who makes a big run and they throw the ball to Jason Jenkins who scores. But the ref calls it back becuase of a knock on, tough call, but the right one.
15 min: Bulls win a penalty off the restart and kick for touch to try and hit back.
12 min: TRY - Highlanders, perfection from Aaron Smith who puts in a little chip kick - Dylan Sage fumbles the ball and fullback Josh McKay scores. Kick is good. Highlanders 7 - 0 Bulls.
9 min: Soft attack from the Bulls - not really going anywhere - forward pass is called and the Landers will have the scrum.
7 min: Massive run from Coltman who makes about 15 metres but the Bulls turn the ball over once again - Pollard with a huge clearence.
6 min: Great work from Luke Whitelock - over the top and winning a penalty for the hosts.
4 min: Big scrum from the Bulls - they win a scrum and Pollard kick for touch - mistake, it doesn't go out. But the Landers lose the ball forward.
2 min: The Bulls win a turnover and Handre Pollard clears.
2 min: Good attack from the Highlanders - Luke Whitelock links up with Rob Thompson who wins a penalty - Aaron Smith takes it quickly.

Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's coverage of the Super Rugby match between the HIghlanders and the Bulls.
Pre-match chat: Highlanders welcome back Liam Squire for first time this season
A desperate Highlanders side have been boosted by the return of two All Blacks for their penultimate Super Rugby match of the 2019 regular season.
Liam Squire will suit up for the first time this season, after recovering from shoulder and hip injuries, while he also missed the last two weeks through personal reasons.
Joining Squire up front is Jackson Hemopo, who was capped three times in a black jersey during the 2018 season.
The Highlanders are on the outside looking into a playoff spot and must win their final two games to have any chance of qualifying.
Coach Aaron Mauger has also named wing Tavita Li, who returns from a spell in the medical ward.
Captain Luke Whitelock will play his 100th Super Rugby game and his 50th for the Highlanders. The All Blacks number eight will receive a mere from New Zealand Rugby afterwards to acknowledge the milestone.
The clash against the Bulls, will mark the final home appearance of 2015 Super Rugby winner Waisake Naholo, while local favourite Ben Smith will also be farewelled.
Smith has signed for Pau in France after the Rugby World Cup, while Naholo is heading to London Irish.
