The All Blacks may have come up short at the Rugby World Cup, but one of their biggest names has walked away with a healthy consolation prize.
He's had to switch codes - again- but Sonny Bill Williams' reported $10 million two-year deal with Canadian club Toronto Wolfpack would make him the highest-paid rugby or league player in the world.

So how does his paycheck stack up against other sportspeople?
Well, it completely overshadows his former All Blacks captain Kieran Read, who's making about $1 million a year.
He also leaves golfer Lydia Ko in the dust - she pulls in $1.6 million annually.
Then along comes Steven Adams. His $35 million-a-year salary is more than three times SBW's measly $10 million.
He's quickly blown out of the water by fellow NBA star LeBron James, who makes almost $90 million a year.
But that seems like peanuts compared to boxer Floyd Mayweather, who managed a cool $285 million last year.
Williams' deal was first reported by Australian broadcaster 9 News. At the weekend, The Telegraph newspaper revealed Williams would be offered a stake in the club, should he sign.
The news comes as it was also revealed the Wolfpack had been in discussions about turning Williams' first season with them into a documentary series.
Toronto head coach Brian McDermott met with Williams in Japan, after watching him play in New Zealand's semi-final defeat to England.
