Kiwi weightlifter Kanah Andrews-Nahu has been given the surprise of her young career.
The youth Olympics flag bearer narrowly missed out on bronze last year in Argentina, but news from the International Weightlifting Federation brought on tears of joy today.
It turns out, 116 kilograms in the clean and jerk and 95 kilograms in the snatch should have earned a bronze.
Now the gold medallist has been disqualified she can move on from a painful memory.
