Steven Adams produced one of his best performances of the NBA season to date to help power the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 118-112 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday (NZT).

The Kiwi centre put up a monster double-double of 20 points and 17 rebounds on an efficient 10 of 15 shooting with three steals, as the Thunder fought back to sink the Kawhi Leonard-less Clippers and claim their fourth consecutive win.

Sophomore guard sensation Shai Gilgeous-Alexander spearheaded the hosts' charge with a career-high 32 points, while Dennis Schroder was again instrumental off the bench with 28 points, six assists and five rebounds.

Lou Williams was the best of the Clippers with 22 points and seven assists.

All Star guard Paul George struggled with his shot in his return to Chesapeake Arena, managing just 18 points on 6 of 17 shooting with five turnovers.

The Thunder will remain at home to take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.
