Kiwi Alpine ski racer Alice Robinson has scored another top 10 finish at the FIS World Cup giant slalom in Lienz, Austria.
The 18-year-old World junior champion bounced back from a poor opening run to improve finish ninth overall in the fourth event of the season.
Robinson was in 18th place after the first run, but then put in the fifth-fastest time on the second run to climb up the leaderboard.
"It was a new track for me. I had a not very good first run and made a lot of mistakes, it wasn't very good. Second run I had a decent run and skied pretty well.
"I was only just behind and made up quite a few spots so I was happy with that. I've just got to build on this now for the next races."
Robinson remains sixth on the World Cup giant slalom points table, and she remains sixth on the points table.
The event was won by World No.1 Mikaela Shiffrin of America, who claimed her 63rd career victory.
Robinson finished 2.54s behind Shiffrin.
The win moved Shiffrin to second on the women's all-time list behind Lindsey Vonn (82) and ending her longest victory drought since the PyeongChang Olympics.
Robinson's next race will be the World Cup in Sestriere, Italy on January 18.
