The Project NZ host Kanoa Lloyd has long been ridiculed for being on her restricted licence for 12 years.
Lloyd on Friday night's show, however, announced she would finally take the plunge and sit her full licence next year, and she's already been given a helping hand from someone with a bit of experience behind the wheel.
Kiwi Supercars champion Scott McLaughlin took Lloyd for a bit of a driving lesson - and she even got to go for a spin in his car (no, not the one he races on the track).
