Team New Zealand will get their first competitive look at their biggest America's Cup rivals of Sardinia in April.
Regatta organisers have confirmed four teams for the first leg of the America's Cup World Series from April 23-26.
New Zealand will face 'challenger of record' Luna Rossa from Italy, Team UK and American Magic from New York in the first of three events, leading up to the America's Cup challenger series in January/February 2021.
The other events have been scheduled for Portsmouth, England, in June and Auckland in December, along with a Christmas race regatta from December 17-20.
The Sardinia regatta will take place over four days and marks the racing debut of the AC75 foiling monohull class, designed specifically for the next America's Cup regatta.
Over the opening three days, each team will raced each other twice in a match-racing format, with the top two competing in a best-of-three series on the final day.
