Blackcaps test paceman Neil Wagener and wife Lana have welcomed their first child into the world.
Olivia Faith Wagner was born on Wednesday, with Wagner sharing a photo of the family's new addition on Instagram.
"Olivia Faith Wagner born 19 February 2020!" Wagner posted. "Lana and Livie were amazing and so proud of them.
"Both doing great and we are truly blessed."
Many of Wagner's Blackcaps teammates commented on the post, with Jimmy Neesham's the best: "Congrats mate, lovely delivery."
Olivia's anticipated arrival forced Wagner out of the Blackcaps' first test against India at the Basin Reserve.
His spot in the team was taken by debutant Kylie Jamieson, who took two wickets - including Indian captain Virat Kolhi - in the opening session on day one, leaving the tourists 79/3 at lunch.
Wagner is set to feature in the second test, starting on February 29 in Christchurch.
