The Warriors' NRL Nines tournament is over after suffering another loss in the pool stage, going down 14-8 to the Sydney Roosters.
The match was a must-win for the Warriors, who lost their opener to the Newcastle Knights on Friday night.
Paul Turner opened the scoring for the Kiwis before the Roosters hit back with two before the break, McKenzie Baker scoring a first-half double to lead 8-4 at the half.
Rocco Berry levelled the score at 8-8, but a late try from Baker sealed his hat-trick and the win for the Roosters.
Yesterday, the Warriors were thrashed 34-0 by the Newcastle Knight in their opener.
Former Warrior Mason Lino put on a clinic against his old side, scoring the first try.
The Knights ran riot after that, running in another five unanswered tries.
Starford To'a and Brodie Jones added to the score in the first half to make the score 20-0 at the break.
The Knights continued to dominate in the second half, Sione Mata'utia and Tex Hoy scored after the break to complete the thrashing.
