Fans often go to extreme lengths to meet their sporting heroes, but Tiago Ramos' effort may just take the cake.
The 22-year-old model has struck up a relationship with Nadine Goncalves, the 52-year-old mother of Brazilian football megastar Neymar.
And Ramos has already earned the seal of approval from the PSG striker, who's six years his senior.
Goncalves posted a loving snap of herself and her new beau on Instagram, to which her son commented: "Be happy mom. Love you."
In 2017, the video game enthusiast and self-professed Neymar fanboy sent his idol a heartfelt message, expressing his desire to meet him.
"Neymar, you are fantastic. I don't know how to explain the emotion of being a fan of a guy like you.
"I see you playing and I'm very motivated. One day, I hope to read this message with you, be your brother and play together.
"I know that one day I will meet you, because I am a dreamy boy, where I do not give up on my goals!
"Stay with God, very successful and happy."
Ramos got his wish in January, posting a photo with Neymar to his Instagram account, which has more than 500,000 followers.
"I love you, man. You are fantastic," he wrote in the caption, alongside a couple of crying emojis.
Goncalves was married to Neymar's father and agent Wagner Ribeiro for 25 years, until they split in 2016.
