Tennis brat Nick Kyrgios' 25th birthday celebrations were spoiled by a cheeky prank from a fellow pro.
Greek ace Stefanos Tsitsipas' Instagram post appeared innocent enough at first glance with an image of him holding up a cardboard sign with the message "Call me" which he captioned "Lift others up".
But the sign contained the mobile phone number of the supremely talented Australian, who received thousands of text and phone messages from fans.
"You are an absolute idiot, everyone stop calling me!!!!!", Kyrgios exclaimed.
The newly turned 25-year-old has to go as far as disconnecting his number due to non-stop hoard of well-wishers obtaining his personal number.
Kyrgios made headlines just a day earlier when he bluntly ruled out contesting a tennis Grand Slam without fans.
"One hundred per cent no," he said when asked by fellow Aussie Thanasi Kokkinakis on a social media video if he would play a slam without fans in the stands.
