NZ Warriors will move base to the New South Wales Central Coast town of Gosford, once their coronavirus quarantine is over next week.
The Auckland NRL side are currently at Tamworth - Australia's country music capital - serving out their 14-day COVID-19 isolation period, before rejoining other teams in their preparation for a 2020 season restart on May 28.
Once that first stage is complete, their next destination has been confirmed as Gosford, where they will play their 'home' games during the campaign.
The Warriors have previously played at Central Coast Stadium three times - the most recent featured a sensational solo try from new signing Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to steal a 32-28 golden-point win over his former team, Sydney Roosters, in 2016.
They lost 27-12 to Manly Sea Eagles in 2013, but beat Northern Eagles 24-16 in 2001.
"Our players and staff are so excited, knowing the Central Coast will be their home away from home, as they count down to the resumption of the 2020 season," says Warriors chief executive Cameron George.
"They're also really looking forward to using Central Coast Stadium as their training base. It's a terrific facility with a fantastic surface, which was a critical requirement to ensure our team is as well prepared as possible each and every week of the campaign ahead."
The venue is home to the Central Coast Mariners of football's A-League and regularly hosts other NRL teams.
Its record attendance of 20,060 probably won't be challenged this season, with NRL fixtures likely taking place behind closed doors for the remainder of the 2020 draw.
"Stadium staff are following all operational guidelines and working closely with the NRL to ensure there is no health risk to the community," says Central Coast Council chief executive Gary Murphy.
"All parties will be following the protocols of the government health orders and will be adapting to any changes, including restrictions on social distancing and public gathering requirements."
The Warriors are still waiting to learn who their first opponents will be later this month.
Last weekend, the club offered Tamworth residents free membership of the Warriors fan club, including newsletters and merchandise discounts. More than 200 locals have taken up the offer.
The Warriors will also embroider the Tamworth postcode of 2340 on their jerseys, as tribute to the community that has hosted them during quarantine.
