Netball NZ has confirmed the return of ANZ Premiership netball to venues across the country.
On Wednesday, the revised competition schedule was announced, which includes games in Invercargill, Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Porirua, Hamilton and Auckland, starting July 30.
The first six weeks of the revised schedule will see all games played at the Auckland Netball Centre, with the Pulse, Tactix, and Southern Steel travelling north on chartered flights.
The draw then changes for Rounds eight to 10, when games are moved to home venues.
The venue for the triple-header finals series - to be played August 22 - will be announced on Frriday.
Netball NZ head of events and international Kate Agnew says it had been a huge undertaking to ensure teams could give their fans an opportunity to see live netball.
"We have reworked venue availability, accommodation and travel options in order to take the competition around the country," says Agnew.
"We understand that playing in front of home fans is a huge part of the game and we know how important it is for the ANZ Premiership teams to have that opportunity."
