The Sydney Roosters are preparing for the impending arrival of cross-code superstar Sonny Bill Williams.
Reports out of Australia confirmed the club has allowed outside back Asu Kepaoa to join the Wests Tigers, clearing room for the former All Black to join the club he won a premiership with in 2013.
The Daily Telegraph reports Williams and his family have flights booked and are scheduled to arrive in Australia on Wednesday.
The report says SBW is hopeful he can secure an exemption to enter the country as his wife holds an Australian passport.
The Roosters are reportedly under the salary cap by more than AU$200,000 and are desperate to replenish their forward stocks with the long term loss of Victor Radley and Angus Chrichton.
Williams' agent Khoder Nasser reportedly had lunch with Roosters boss Nick Politis on Tuesday, fuelling speculation a deal was in the works, following the withdrawal of the Toronto Wolfpack from the Super League.
