Irish international cricketer Kevin O'Brien has left himself with a messy bill, after smashing his own car window with a thunderous six, while playing for Leinster Lightning.
O'Brien blasted eight sixes in a 37-ball 82 against North-West Warriors, with one of his maximums sailing over the rope and shattering the rear window of his parked car.
Cricket Ireland shared a photo of the damage to their social media pages.
"Kevin O'Brien smashes six… and his own car window," the caption reads."Seriously."
Despite the damage, O'Brien, who played for Northern Districts in New Zealand in 2014/15, helped his side to a 24-run win in the rain-reduced match.
According to reports, he drove the car straight to the garage to get the window replaced after the match.
O'Brien is renowned for his mighty hitting, after blasting the quickest century in World Cup history in Ireland's 2011 win over England.
The incident was similar to a New Zealand domestic match between Otago and Wellington in 2014, when commentator Ian Smith thought a Jesse Ryder six had hit his rental car.
Smith was live on TV commentary at the time, although the damage wasn't so severe.
"It's on my car! It is!" he declared. "I think it hit my car!
"Oh, the downside of getting a park so close! Oh no."
