Fulham has returned to the English Premier League a year after relegation, thanks to a 2-1 Championship playoff win over Brentford.
Leftback Joe Bryan scored two extra-time goals to secure victory in what has been described as the richest game in British sport.
An empty Wembley Stadium hosted a titanic tussle, finally broken open when Bryan spotted out-of-position Brentford goalkeeper David Raya, who was anticipating a cross from his deep free-kick, and cleverly drove the ball into the bottom corner.
Bryan doubled the score with three minutes remaining, before Brentford striker Henrik Dalsgaard pulled a goal back in added time.
The victory ensures the London club of a 135m pounds sterling (NZ$266 million) financial windfall over the next three years.
Fulham will join fellow promoted clubs Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion in England's top flight next season, while Norwich, Bournemouth and Watford will play in the Championship.
