All Whites midfielder Sarpreet Singh is on the move after agreeing to terms for a season-long loan with Bundesliga 2 side FC Nürnberg.
On Saturday (NZ time) Nürnberg confirmed the signing of Singh, who is contracted to current German champions Bayern Munich.
The 21 year-old played just two games in his first season in Munich, as he spent the majority of the season playing for Bayern's reserve team in the 3.Liga where he scored seven goals in 22 games.
Earlier this week, Singh said he had planned to sit down with coach Hans Flick about his options moving forward and the deal with Nürnberg came shortly afterwards.
"The ideas of [sporting director] Dieter Hecking and [coach] Robert Klauss immediately convinced me," said Singh. "I want to take the next step and do my part to make this club play a successful season.
"Now I'm looking forward to meeting the team and the first training session on Saturday."
Singh will wear the No.8 jersey for his new club, and could make his debut next weekend against FC Augsburg in a friendly.
Nürnberg boss Hecking was full of praise towards the NZ international.
"Sapreet is a top talent who is at home in attacking midfield," said Hecking.
"In addition to making his first professional appearances [last season], he was one of the outstanding players in the team who were crowned third division champions.
"We hope that Sapreet will bring resilience, playful and technical potential with us."
