The NZ Warriors will be without Chanel Harris-Tavita for Sunday's must-win NRL clash against the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Harris-Tavita has been ruled out with concussion after a nasty head clash with Adam Keighran during training earlier in the week, which resulted in the latter breaking his nose.
Surprisingly, the Warriors' updated team list has Tohu Harris named at halfback, but it's expected rookie Paul Turner will make NRL debut when Todd Payten confirmed his final 17 an hour before kickoff.
If Tuner plays, he will be the 31st player the Warriors have used this season and on Wednesday, Payten said he would have no problems handing the 20-year-old his NRL debut.
"He's trained really well since we've been in Australia," said Payten.
"He's been in the system now for over a couple of years. He's a quiet kid by nature, but when he gets out on the park he moves really well, I wouldn't be averse to throwing him in there.
"I think he's bided his time, he's played really well in parts of the reserve grade competition.
"If he gets a shot, if we lean that way, then I'm sure he can do the job."
Injuries have hampered the Warriors this year and they've been forced to make numerous changes to their side with Jack Murchie set to make his first appearance in over a month, while Hayze Perham gets his first game since round four with Patrick Herbert ruled out with a hamstring injury.
The Warriors are six points outside the NRL's top eight and a win will keep them in touch with the chasing pack which includes the Manly Sea Eagles, Wests Tigers and St George Illawarra Dragons.
