All Black Beauden Barrett and wife Hannah have announced the arrival of their first child.
The Blues and Taranaki playmaker posted a picture on Twitter of Hannah and their new daughter, Bille Rose Barrett, who was born on Wednesday.
"Billie Rose Barrett- our little princess," says Barrett.
Wife Hannah called their first child an "absolute superstar".
"Welcome to the world little Billie Rose Barrett," she wrote. "You are an absolute superstar and your mum and dad love you so much."
Barrett was a noticeable absence from All Blacks training in whakatane earlier this week, fueling speculation that the baby was about to arrive.
Fellow All Black Richie Mo'unga and wife Sophie also named their first child Billie, which was born last month.
All Blacks halfback TJ Perenara and wife Greer welcomed their first child, also a baby girl, last month too.
Reports susgested that Barrett, Mo'unga, and Perenara would skip the upcomming Rugby Championship due to the recent arrivals although they were shut down by All Blacks coach Ian Foster.
Mo'unga also blasted the claims, saying that the prospect of nine weeks away is simply part of his All Blacks "duty".
As it stands, All Blacks players are set to spend Christmas Day in quarantine with the Rugby Championship due to finish on December 12.
Barrett married Hannah on Rakino Island, north of Auckland in January last year, and the couple announced a baby was on the way in April.
