Kiwi Shane Young has a new opponent for next weekend's UFC 253 event in Abu Dhabi, after American Nate Landwehr tested positive for COVID-19.
Young will now face Ludovit Klein, who will become the first Slovakian to compete in the UFC.
"I'm going to fulfil my biggest dream," Ludovit writes on his Instagram. "I am proud to be the first Slovak in history to represent our country in the UFC."
Klein has a 16-2 mixed martial arts (MMA) record and is on a seven-fight win streak.
Young has a 13-4 MMA record, with a 2-1 success in the UFC, but the 27-year-old hasn't fought since February last year, when he beat Austin Arnett at UFC 234 in Australia.
Young is one of four Kiwis on the UFC 253 card, alongside Kai-Kara France, Brad Riddell, and headliner Israel Adesanya, who will defend his middleweight title against Brazil's Paulo Costa.
UFC 253 starts a run of five events in the space of a month for the return to 'Fight Island', ending on October 24, when Khabib Nurmagomedov faces Justin Gaethje.
