Former UFC heavyweight challenger Mark Hunt will fight former Australian rugby league star Paul Gallen in a boxing bout on December 16 at Parramatta's Bankwest Stadium.
The fight will share the main event spotlight, alongside Tim Tszyu's welterweight scrap against Kiwi Bowyn Morgan.
Gallen, 39, is undefeated inside the boxing ring, winning nine of his 10 bouts, with one draw, but Hunt represents the biggest challenge of his budding career.
'The Super Samoan' is a combat sports icon, having won the 2001 K1 Grand Prix, and competed against mixed martial arts greats Fedor Emelianenko, Mirko Cro Cop, Alistair Overeem and Brock Lesnar.
Hunt fought for the UFC interim heavyweight championship in 2014, but came up short against Brazilian Fabricio Werdum.
Hunt and Gallen were scheduled to battle in April, but the fight was scrapped, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tszyu returns to the ring for the first time since the biggest win of his career against former world champion Jeff Horn in August.
Morgan hasn't lost since 2016 and is riding a three-fight knockout streak, but this fight represents the biggest of his career, as he looks to build on his IBF top-15 ranking.
