Cricket's leading publication has named three Blackcaps players to its World Test XI of the year.
The 2020 Wisden almanack has selected skipper Kane Williamson, seamer Tim Southee, and breakout star Kyle Jamieson to the side.
The selection takes in performances from December 2019 through to the recently-completed series whitewash of the West Indies, which lifted New Zealand to second in the ICC test rankings.
Also named are the likes of England all-rounder Ben Stokes, Aussie batting sensation Marnus Labuschagne, and Pakistan star Babar Azam.
The most notable omissions are batting heavyweights Virat Kohli and Steve Smith, whose lack of test action this year has likely cost them a spot.
After struggling in the 3-0 defeat to Australia, Williamson has averaged over 50 in 2020, highlighted by his 251 in the first test against the West Indies that shot him to third in the ICC batting rankings.
Southee has taken 38 wickets through the Australia and Windies series, at an average of 18.89.
Meanwhile, Jamieson has taken the test world by storm, with a staggering 20 wickets at an average of 14 though his first four tests, which included some handy contributions with the bat, most notably his undefeated 51 against the Windies in the first test.
Wisden’s test XI of 2020: Dom Sibley (England), Shan Masood (Pakistan), Kane Williamson (New Zealand), Babar Azam (Pakistan), Marnus Labuschagne (Australia), Ben Stokes (England), Quinton de Kock (South Africa), Kyle Jamieson (New Zealand), Stuart Broad (England), Tim Southee (New Zealand), Nathan Lyon (Australia).
