The White Ferns are poised to steal the floodlights from their male counterparts during an international schedule that will pit them against reigning world champions in both limited-over formats.
NZ Cricket has revealed a blockbuster programme that will see the NZ women take on one-day supremos England in three ODIs and three T20s, beginning February 23, followed by a similar itinerary against 20-over World Cup titleholders Australia from March 28.
Several of those fixtures will run in tandem with the Blackcaps' series against Australia and Bangladesh, with one - the March 28 T20 opener against the Aussies at Hamilton - actually stealing centrestage from the men.
The Blackcaps will take on Bangladesh in their final outing of a three-match series, with the Ferns scheduled to take the field at 7pm under floodlights.
Both England and Australia face two-week COVID-19 quarantine spells before their respective matches.
"We're very grateful to the New Zealand Government for supporting and enabling these women's tours and for creating an environment in which they can proceed," says NZC chief executive David White.
"It's great that New Zealand and the world will be able to see these two terrific women's sides in action against the White Ferns, and women's cricket cricket receiving the attention it deserves."
New Zealand will host the women's one-day World Cup in 2021, postponed from this year during the pandemic.
"It's particularly important that teams are able to play and compete and develop their games ahead of such a significant tournament," says White.
