NZ Breakers have slumped to a third defeat in four, hammered 84-69 by Cairns Taipans in the Australian NBL.
The loss drops the Kiwi franchise to last on the ladder and is a big setback, after their first win of the campaign on Saturday night against the same opposition.
The Breakers shot a woeful 35 percent from the floor and were just as ineffective from long range, sinking just 4/28 percent from beyond the arc.
Tai Webster and Finn Delany led the team with 11 points each, while centre Rob Loe had 10.
The Breakers head to Sydney on Friday night to take on the Kings.
