How many Warriors does it take to change a flat tyre? Only two, when they’re Addin Fonua-Blake and Ben Murdoch-Masila.
The new signings have made a significant impact for their team through their first two games - it turns out they're almost as benevolent off the pitch.
On Tuesday, the pair were spotted coming to the rescue of an elderly lady, who was struggling with a flat tyre in torrential rain on New South Wales' Central Coast.
A member of the public witnessed the pair dressed in Warriors training kit and posted on social media, asking they be allowed some leniency for being late to practice, due to their random act of kindness.
"Just saw Addin Fonua-Blake helping a elderly lady change her tyre in pouring down rain in Tuggerah on the Central Coast in his Warriors training gear," Twitter user Mike Pether tweets to new club consultant Phil Gould.
"What a LEGEND!!! Don’t make him do extras for being late."
Gould confirmed the two had shown up to training soaked to the bone.
"They just walked into training, soaking wet," Gould replies. "Great blokes".
Both Fonua-Blake and Murdoch-Masila have made an immediate impression, since joining the Warriors from Manly Sea Eagles and Warrington Wolves respectively, leading a much-improved forward pack.
