Kiwi snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott has won a second medal at the World Championships in Aspen, claiming silver in the big air final.
Four days removed from a sensational gold medal run in the slopestyle, the 20-year-old had a shot at a second, requiring a score of 85.75 to leapfrog Canada's, Laurie Blouin.
But a failed landing on an attempted double cork 1260 melon grab relegated the Wanaka-native to silver.
"I pulled out [midway through the 1260] because I knew I didn’t have it, I went way too big as I was nervous and excited, I knew I had to land it to win," Sadowski-Synnott said.
"This was my second attempt at the 1260 in competition so now I know what I need to work on for next season."
Blouin retained her lead and took the title, Sadowski-Synnott claimed the silver medal and Miyabi Onitsuka from Japan rounded out the podium in the bronze medal position.
