The returning Tom Trbojevic has led the Manly Sea Eagles to their second consecutive victory in the NRL, outclassing the Gold Coast Titans 36-0 at Mudgee on Saturday.
Playing his first game of 2021 after a hamstring injury, Sea Eagles fullback Trbojevic made up for lost time.
Trbojevic threw the final pass to set up Manly's first try, scored by centre Brad Parker, before crossing over himself for the Sea Eagles' third try in the 22nd minute.
The fullback had another assist before halftime, sending winger Jason Saab over to score his own try - Manly's fourth - as the Sea Eagles took a 26-0 advantage into halftime.
The Sea Eagles added two more tries in the second spell, as Saab had a double before fellow winger Reuben Garrick scored the final try of the night in the 63rd minute.
For good measure, Garrick added five conversions and one penalty with the boot, coming away with 16 points.
The win lifts the Sea Eagles into 12th on the NRL ladder with four points, albeit having played one game more than 13th-placed Wests Tigers, and 15th-placed North Queensland Cowboys.
The Titans meanwhile are eighth, but could be overtaken by the Warriors, depending on Sunday's result against the St George-Illawarra Dragons.
