All Blacks and Hurricanes midfielder Ngani Laumape has reportedly emerged as a potential signing for French side Stade Francais.
According to French outlet Midi Olympique, the 27-year-old - who comes off contract at the end of 2021 - is a prime target for the Top 14 glamour club.
"Stade have established contacts with the entourage of Ngani Laumape for some time now," Midi Olympique says.
"The New Zealand centre, who plays for the Hurricanes, would not be opposed to an experiment in France."
The Hurricanes have told Newshub that no approach has been made for Laumape.
With a logjam in the All Blacks' midfield - where Jack Goodhue, Anton Lienert-Brown and Rieko Ioane are all in contention for two starting spots - Laumape could be tempted to cash in on his high stocks with a lucrative deal in France.
Stade Francais are currently in the market for a midfielder, as they prepare to lose French international Gael Fickou to Racing 92 at the end of the current season.
The report adds that Argentina's Santiago Chocobares is also a target for the Paris-based side.
